About
A house with a quiet history, restored for slow stays.
iGADI House is a restored Victorian townhouse on a leafy street in the Gardens — Cape Town's most beloved and walkable neighbourhood. Twelve rooms, a wellness spa, a sub-tropical garden, and a small team of people who genuinely love hosting.

Philosophy
Heritage, gently held.
Victorian architecture
Pressed-tin ceilings, sash windows, broekie lace and yellowwood floors — preserved by hand, layered with calm contemporary interiors in linen, oak, brass and stone.
A garden philosophy
Indigenous proteas and fynbos rooted into the original layout. The garden waters from a borehole and is tended without chemicals.
Solar & sustainability
A full solar and battery installation means our guests never feel loadshedding. We compost, source within 50 km wherever possible, and partner with Cape conservation projects.
A founder's note
“We wanted to make the kind of small hotel we'd want to come back to ourselves — quiet, beautiful, generous, and unmistakably of the Cape.”
